What is Body Botox?
Body Botox uses botulinum toxin to gently relax overdeveloped muscles of the body and refine your contours. At Seye Clinic, we treat areas where prominent muscle makes the line look bulky, such as the calves (gastrocnemius), the trapezius, the arms (biceps and upper arm), and the latissimus dorsi. Because it is performed with injections and no incision, you can return to daily life the same day, and the goal is to gradually reduce muscle volume for a naturally smoother silhouette.
How It Works
Botulinum toxin temporarily blocks the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter, at the nerve endings that signal muscle contraction. With less signaling, the treated muscle contracts more weakly and is used less, and over time its volume gradually decreases. Through this process, overdeveloped muscles soften and the body's line becomes more refined. The effect is not permanent; as the nerves recover, the muscle gradually returns to its original state, so periodic re-treatment is used to maintain the result.
Key Benefits
- Relaxes a developed gastrocnemius to smooth and refine the calf line.
- Reduces trapezius volume for a softer shoulder line and a longer-looking neck.
- Eases the biceps and upper-arm muscles to tidy the contour of the arm.
- Reduces latissimus dorsi volume to slim the back and waistline.
- No incision means minimal scar concern and a same-day return to daily life.
Who It's For
- Those bothered that developed calf muscles make their legs look bulky.
- Those concerned that a thick trapezius makes the neck look short or the shoulders raised.
- Those whose arm or calf lines don't refine even with exercise or weight management.
- Those who want to smooth their body's contours without incisions or long recovery.
- Those who want to wear shoulder-baring tops or shorts with confidence.
Body Botox at Seye Clinic
At Seye Clinic, we plan the dose and injection points after reviewing how developed the muscle is in each area, your lifestyle, and the line you want. Several areas, such as the calves, trapezius, arms, and back, can be treated together depending on your condition, and we use icing (cooling) during the procedure to reduce discomfort for a comfortable experience. Our medical team explains aftercare, when to expect results, and re-treatment timing in detail, so we encourage you to consult with us about the areas you'd like to refine.
