What is Oligio?

Oligio (OLIGIO) is a monopolar radiofrequency (RF) lifting device developed by Wontech, a Korean medical device company. Since its 2020 launch it has been widely used in Korea and abroad. It is a non-invasive firming and lifting treatment that delivers RF heat energy into the dermis to stimulate collagen. Oligio is often compared with Thermage because both use monopolar RF, but it is a separate device made by Wontech. At Seye Clinic, our medical team designs the shot count and treatment areas to match your skin condition and degree of laxity.

How It Works

Oligio uses a monopolar RF method, emitting radiofrequency energy from a single electrode to concentrate heat energy in the dermis. This heat momentarily denatures existing collagen, and during the healing process it induces the regeneration of new collagen and elastic fibers, so the skin tightens and plumps from within. Oligio is equipped with a temperature-tracking sensor that reads the contact temperature in real time, along with surface cooling and vibration, so it delivers enough heat to the dermis while lowering the risk of surface burns and discomfort.

During the procedure our medical team monitors your temperature response and comfort while adjusting the energy, and uses cooling and vibration to minimize stimulation. Afterward we also guide you through skin soothing and home care so you can return to daily life comfortably.

FAQ

Both treatments use monopolar RF, but Oligio is made by Wontech while Thermage is made by a different manufacturer, so they are separate devices. Their tips and energy delivery differ, so results and sensation may vary from person to person.

Aftercare

After the procedure, you may experience a sensation of heat, redness, tingling, and dryness, which will improve within one week.

Depending on individual differences, you may temporarily experience throbbing, swelling, bruising, or redness of the skin, and depending on skin sensitivity, a sensation of heat or edema may appear. In most cases, these subside within 1-2 weeks.

Please avoid scrubs or exfoliation that irritate the skin. As your skin may feel dry, please moisturize sufficiently.

As dryness may occur after the procedure, please apply moisturizer frequently, and always apply sunscreen when going outdoors.

The results and their duration all vary depending on individual skin elasticity, degree of sagging, skin thickness, and other factors.

If blisters or vesicles develop within 72 hours, please notify Seye Clinic immediately and visit the clinic.

To help the skin retain its warmth after the procedure, please avoid cold compresses, washing your face with cold water, and similar practices.
