What is Shurink Universe?

Shurink Universe is a focused-ultrasound lifting device developed by Classys, a Korean medical-device company. Using MMFU (Micro-Macro Focused Ultrasound) technology, it delivers heat energy from the dermis down to the deeper fascia layer without breaking the skin's surface. Compared with the earlier Shurink, it supports both an MP mode and a Normal (dot) mode, allowing ultrasound energy to be delivered precisely in dot or line patterns to the areas you want to treat.

How it works

The device concentrates ultrasound energy at several depths beneath the skin to form tiny thermal coagulation points (TCPs). This heat stimulus prompts collagen to regenerate and reorganize, so that over the following weeks skin firmness improves and wrinkles soften. Cartridges come in depths of 1.5, 2.0, 3.0 and 4.5 mm for the face and 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5 mm for the Booster, so treatment can be tailored from shallow areas such as around the eyes down to the fascia (SMAS) layer at 4.5 mm. The pen-type cartridges of the Booster handpiece also allow delicate care of curved areas such as the jaw and cheeks.

FAQ

As a non-invasive treatment there is little intense pain, but you may feel a tingling sensation and warmth in areas close to bone, such as the temples and jawline. If you are sensitive to pain, a numbing cream can be applied beforehand to reduce discomfort, and the degree of pain can vary from person to person.

Aftercare

After the procedure, you may experience a sensation of heat, redness, tingling, and dryness, which will improve within one week.

Depending on individual differences, you may temporarily experience throbbing, swelling, bruising, or redness of the skin, and depending on skin sensitivity, a sensation of heat or edema may appear. In most cases, these subside within 1-2 weeks.

Please avoid scrubs or exfoliation that irritate the skin. As your skin may feel dry, please moisturize sufficiently.

As dryness may occur after the procedure, please apply moisturizer frequently, and always apply sunscreen when going outdoors.

The results and their duration all vary depending on individual skin elasticity, degree of sagging, skin thickness, and other factors.

If blisters or vesicles develop within 72 hours, please notify Seye Clinic immediately and visit the clinic.

After the procedure, a white stripe phenomenon may rarely occur, and it disappears within 2-3 weeks.
