Ultherapy is a non-surgical ultrasound lifting treatment approved by the U.S. FDA. Using high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), it delivers energy deep into the SMAS (muscular fascia) layer without damaging the skin surface, promoting natural lifting and collagen regeneration.

How It Works

Ultrasound energy creates precise thermal coagulation points at depths of 1.5 mm, 3.0 mm, and 4.5 mm. This heat stimulation contracts existing collagen and promotes new collagen production, resulting in immediate tightening right after the procedure and gradual lifting over 2โ€“3 months.

You may feel a tingling sensation as the ultrasound energy is delivered during the procedure. We apply numbing cream 30 minutes before treatment to minimize discomfort. For those sensitive to pain, IV sedation is also available. Post-procedure pain subsides quickly.

Aftercare

Avoid alcohol and smoking for 24 hours after the procedure.
Avoid saunas, steam rooms, and hot baths for 1 week after the procedure.
Cleansing and makeup are possible on the day of the procedure, but avoid scrubs and peeling treatments for 2 weeks.
Use lukewarm water for cleansing for 2โ€“3 days after the procedure.
Apply sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) thoroughly when going outdoors.
Use moisturizer generously as dryness may occur after the procedure.
Avoid intense massage or facial pressure for 1โ€“2 weeks after the procedure.
Temporary swelling, redness, and warmth may occur but typically resolve within a few hours.
