What is Laser Genesis?
Laser Genesis is a non-ablative toning treatment that uses a long-pulsed 1064nm Nd:YAG laser to gradually build gentle heat in the upper dermis without removing the skin's surface. Because it delivers warmth in a non-contact manner without disrupting the outer layer, it can gently improve redness, enlarged pores, rough texture, and dull tone all at once. With virtually no downtime, you can return to your daily routine immediately after treatment.
How it works
As the 1064nm laser beam passes through the epidermis and reaches the upper dermis, repeated short pulses of about 0.3 milliseconds slowly raise the temperature within the skin. This gentle heat activates the fibroblasts in the dermis to stimulate collagen renewal (neocollagenesis) and, at the same time, constricts the fine blood vessels near the surface to soften visible redness. Because this 'bulk heating' approach does not damage the epidermis, it is low in irritation and can be repeated relatively safely.
