What is Virtue RF?
Virtue RF is a microneedle fractional radiofrequency (RF) device developed by ShenB of Korea and used in clinics around the world. Thin, gold-plated microneedles are inserted directly into the dermis to deliver RF energy, which makes it fundamentally different from light-based treatments such as IPL or lasers. A robotic step motor inserts the needles at a consistent speed and depth for even, precise treatment.
How It Works
Virtue RF inserts 36 gold-plated microneedles into the skin and then delivers bipolar RF energy through the needle tips directly into the dermis. The resulting thermal energy stimulates dermal collagen to promote regeneration and remodeling. Needle depth can be finely adjusted in 0.1 mm increments across roughly a 0.5–3.5 mm range, so treatment can be tailored to each area and skin condition. Insulated needles concentrate heat in the dermis while minimizing damage to the epidermis, and a single-needle handpiece (ExactRF) is used for delicate areas such as around the eyes. Sub-Pulse technology and cooling help reduce discomfort during the session.
