What is Rejuran Healer?
Rejuran Healer is part of the Rejuran line developed by PharmaResearch, and its main ingredient is PN (polynucleotide, Sodium Polynucleotide) extracted and purified from salmon DNA. PN is often mistaken for PDRN, but they are not the same substance. PN is a high-molecular-weight polynucleotide with a longer chain than PDRN, differing in structure, function and molecular-weight range, and it is PN that is used in Rejuran treatments. Rejuran Healer injects this PN directly into the dermis to help create an environment in which the skin can regenerate itself.
How it works
Once injected into the dermis, the PN polymer is reported to act as a physical scaffold within the skin tissue, supporting fibroblast activity and promoting the regeneration of collagen and the extracellular matrix (ECM). It also supports the skin's natural recovery through macrophage-mediated pathways. The anti-inflammatory mechanism of binding to the adenosine A2A receptor is a mechanism established in the literature for PDRN, and cannot simply be applied to high-molecular-weight PN. PN is understood to work primarily by creating a tissue-regeneration environment and activating fibroblasts.
