What is Nose Thread Lift?

Outcome and longevity

Immediate upgrade of dorsum and tip; swelling resolves within 1-3 days for a natural finish. Lasts 9-12 months; maintenance recommended.

To reduce inflammation, please refrain from excessive drinking, smoking, saunas, and strenuous exercise for one week after the procedure.

Two to three days after the procedure, the treated area may swell more than on the day of the procedure and some bruising may occur, but this subsides within 1-2 weeks.

You may feel a foreign-body sensation after the procedure.

After the procedure, the shape may become deformed due to pressure on the treated area, wearing hats or glasses, facial massage, lifting procedures, sleeping posture, and similar factors. Please be careful not to deform the shape and never touch the area.

To prevent infection and inflammation after the procedure, we prescribe antibiotics. Please be sure to take them according to the medication instructions.

If symptoms such as severe pain, fever, changes in skin color, or blisters appear within a few days, please notify Seye Clinic immediately and visit the clinic.

At Seye Clinic, thread lifting is performed using safe, absorbable PDO threads approved by the KFDA. As a highly biocompatible medical suture also used in ophthalmic surgery and pediatric cardiac procedures, it gradually dissolves over about 6 months while promoting collagen production.

The effect and duration may both differ depending on each individual's skin condition, volume status, and other factors.

Depending on individual skin elasticity, threads may protrude, become visible through the skin, or cause dimpling. If you inform Seye Clinic and visit us, you can receive the necessary care.

After thread lifting, opening your mouth or making facial expressions may feel awkward. This improves over time.

To prevent the threads from shifting or breaking, please be careful not to open your mouth wide for 4 weeks.
